Becky Anderson, anchor of the evening edition of CNN’s international news and business programme “Business International”, will moderate the global hotel leaders
panel at the upcoming International Hotel Investment Forum (IHIF). The IHIF is scheduled for 15-17 March 2005 at the InterContinental Berlin, Germany. Scheduled to
appear with Anderson on the panel to discuss trends in European hotel investment are André Martinez, chief operating officer of
Accor; Robert E. Riley, chief executive officer of Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts; Robert F. Cotter, president and chief operating officer of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide and Ian Carter, the new chief
executive officer of Hilton International.
Since the launch of “Business International” in 2001, Anderson has interviewed a wide range of top names from the world of finance, politics and industry. These have
included the UK Chancellor of the Exchequer, Gordon Brown MP; the Governor of the Bank of France, Jean-Claude Trichet; BP Amoco’s CEO, Sir John Browne and Ali
Rodriguez, the Secretary General of OPEC. Anderson joined CNN in 1999.
