Prior to closure at the end of the year for an extensive multi-million dollar renovation,
the Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong is offering a celebratory package for couples who
wish to experience the hotel’s legendary hospitality.
The ‘Legends of Mandarin Oriental’
promotion offers guests a Champagne Welcome and a two-night stay in a Deluxe Harbour
View Suite. Gentlemen can experience the excellent quality of Hong Kong’s tailors, with a stylish bespoke men’s suit by Lord’s Tailor whose regular customers include
Donald Trump – while ladies can opt for a traditional Chinese qi pao, expertly made by a local Shanghainese tailor.
Guests can also indulge in a four-course ‘Gourmet Whisky Dinner’ at the intimate Chinnery Bar which boasts one of Asia’s largest selections of superb single malts. The
package also includes a variety of exclusive welcome gifts including a Mandarin Oriental bathrobe and a distinctive ‘Tiffany Box’, together with round-trip limousine
transfers and in-room breakfast for two.
For further indulgence, guests can also choose from a variety of activities that are available at an additional cost. These include a private champagne cruise aboard
one of Hong Kong’s last authentic Chinese sailing junks, Duk Ling, an escorted three-hour personal tour to Hong Kong’s famed Jade Market, a 30-minute private helicopter tour
of Hong Kong.
In recognition of the year the hotel
opened, 1963, the package is priced at HKD 19,630 and is valid from 1 October to 28 December 2005.
Rates are for double occupancy and are inclusive of service charge and government tax and subject to availability.
The private champagne cruise on Duk Ling is an one-hour trip between 2pm to 6pm on
Thursdays and 10am to 2pm on Saturdays. Activity reservations need to be made 72-hours in advance.
