The 13th Dubai International Boat Show, scheduled from March 15 to 19, 2005, at the Dubai International Marine Club, Mina Seyahi, is sold out as demand from leading
local and international boat manufacturers, marine suppliers and services increases.
“The event will showcase a wide and exclusive range of boats and marine services. Spanning 40,000 square metres the Boat Show will accommodate some 440
exhibitors from over 30 countries in addition to 85 berths for crafts ranging from 39ft to over 200ft. The show has drawn big names from the regional and international
boating and marine industry, establishing its position as one of the must attend events on the global boat show calendar,” said Helal Saeed Khalfan Al
Marri, Director General, Dubai World Trade Centre.
The show will once again, welcome the huge support and presence of leading local manufacturers such as Al Hareb Marine, Al Shaali (AS Marine), Dubai Marine, GC
Marine and Gulf Craft. At the same time visitors can see the very latest from Europe and the US as many top names will be launching new lines for the first time at the
show. International brands include Azimut, Baia, Beneteau, Bertram, Camper & Nicholson, Cranchi, De Birs, Fairline, Ferretti, Lagoon, Performance Marine, Pershing,
Princess and Riva. One of this year’s exclusive and exciting new exhibitors will be Palm Submarines, with a range of submarines including the world’s first submersible
yacht.
The VIP Tent will host companies targeting the top end of the marine leisure market with prominent waterfront developers, interior designers and super yacht builders.
Major waterfront developers such as Al Futtaim, Emaar and Nakheel add a further dimension to the show and strong support from Dubai Maritime City, Dubai Festival
City and Dubai Marina will ensure an all round experience for visitor.
The Main Tent comprising 6000 square meters of exhibition space will host individual companies as well as national group pavilions showcasing a wide range of
products from the most advanced engines in the marine industry to the latest diving and fishing equipment. Local distributors such as Al Masaood, Al Seer Marine and Al
Khalifah Mohd. Al Fuqaei will represent Honda, MTU, Suzuki, Volvo Penta, Yamaha and many other international brand names.
The External Area adjacent to the marina will see large self-built stands offering the trade and consumers a wide range of products. From even more boats to jet skies
and water skies world renowned brands will be on display; Baja, Boston Whaler, Doral, Emirates Craft, Gulf Craft, Regal, Sea Ray International, Sealine and Sugarsand
are among the many.
“The Boat Show Team has received many requests from visitors, both locally and around the region, especially Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar and Saudi Arabia. The interest in
the show represents this rapidly emerging lifestyle in the region concentrated around multi-functional waterfront developments”
