Dragonair is launching an inflight campaign to collect funds in support of
the Tsunami relief efforts by the Red Cross.
“Funds donated by our passengers throughout our network between January 9 and February 12 will go to the Red Cross, which has been one of the major
organisations involved in getting supplies, medicine and relevant personnel to the affected areas,” said Chief Executive Officer Stanley
Hui.
“This campaign is another way in which we can show the people affected by this tragedy that we are doing what we can to ease their suffering,” said Stanley
Hui.
He continued: “The launch of this campaign would not have been possible without the rapid and generous support of many parties, who are donating their time and
resources to ensure it can go ahead. I would therefore like to thank them all.”
Dragonair staff throughout its network have also been making donations through the company to the Red Cross in Thailand.
