Virgin Atlantic
has expanded the range of language learning courses
available on its inflight entertainment system by
launching a dedicated Japanese course. The airline has teamed up with Univerb to offer the course, which teaches passengers to
understand and speak a new language. The course is available for Japanese speakers wanting to learn English and for English speakers wanting to learn Japanese.
Katie Marks Programming Coordinator for Virgin Atlantic’s Onboard Media
said, “We are very excited to offer our passengers the opportunity to learn Japanese. We are
sure they will find using the Univerb service both educational and fun, particularly when flying on our popular route between London and Tokyo. Passengers can learn
basic phrases or can brush up on fluent conversation, which is perfect for business or leisure
travellers.
“We hope to expand the selection of languages available in the future to include Cantonese and Mandarin to link in with our other Far Eastern routes.”
Ann-Charlotte Wennerholm, owner of Univerb Publishing House
said, “Knowing some of the language can make all the difference to the success of a holiday abroad or
a business trip to a foreign country. Learning a language on your own is made easier with a Univerb language courses. Univerb language courses are based on the
well-known method: Listen-Repeat-Learn! To make the courses interesting and useful, we concentrate on words and phrases you can immediately use upon arrival in a
foreign country. Choose what suits you, go directly to what you need to know or follow the course from start to finish. Gain confidence and get the most out of your trip!"
