From
1 July 2005, Etihad Airways is increasing the number of flights it
operates between Abu Dhabi and Cairo, to seven. The airline currently flies four times a week to the Egyptian capital.
In addition to an increased number of flights,
travellers will also have the convenience of night departures from Abu Dhabi
which allows more onward connections and flexibility.
In less than two years since it started operations, Etihad has spread its route network across Asia, the
Middle East and Europe. The National Airline of the UAE currently flies to 17 destinations, with plans to add more new destinations and increase the frequency on existing routes in the coming months.
