The
Hilton Beijing is to recreate its award winning dining experience for Dragonair’s First and Business Class passengers for one year beginning May 1, 2005. “Louisiana” the
hotel’s signature restaurant and one of Beijing’s most acclaimed western venues will offer a full menu of gourmet delights on board all Dragonair flights between Beijing
and Hong Kong.
With this deal, Hilton extends its relationship with the Hong Kong based carrier on two different flight routes. Hilton Shanghai’s “Leonardo’s” restaurant already serves its exclusive menu to First and Business Class passengers flying between
Shanghai and Hong Kong.
In anticipation of the first meal served, “Louisiana’s” de cuisine Chef, Dan Segall, has trained cabin crew on how to best present the cuisine; Dragonair and Louisiana
expect to serve about 70-80 meals every week.
Travellers can look forward to signature dishes like Blackened King Prawns on Crispy Grits with Roasted Tomatoes and Spinach Puree, Lobster Sauce Piquante on
Buttered Noodles, and Sliced Barbecued Pork Shoulders with Garlic Greens & Double-Baked Beans among a selection of 30 mouth watering dishes. The menu will
change once every two weeks.
