Le Méridien Hotels and Resorts
has appointed Dietmar Kielnhofer as General Manager for the exotic Le Méridien Nirwana Golf & Spa Resort, Bali. Replacing Mark Griffiths, Dietmar’s key focus is on the strategic growth and positioning of the resort with its award winning Greg Norman designed
18-hole golf course as Asia's premier Golf resort.
Dietmar, an Austrian national, began his hospitality career with an international hotel in Austria. He joined Le Méridien Jakarta in 1999 and spent six years working in a
general manager position for various Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts in Indonesia, Middle East, Thailand and Africa. His last posting was to Le Méridien Amman, Jordan
where he was general manager from 2003.
“My key focus is not only on strategic growth and positioning of Le Méridien Nirwana Golf & Spa Resort; I will also be promoting Bali as a premier resort destination, with
its unique culture and traditions,” said Mr Dietmar Kielnhofer.
With more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Dietmar has an MBA from the University of Leicester and a PhD in Marketing from the American
University of London, School of Business.
