British hotelier Sean Halliday has been appointed general manager of
The Furama Resort, Danang. He succeeds founding general manager Paul Stoll, who originally opened the Furama Resort in 1997.
43 year-old Briton Sean Halliday started his career with the prestigious Savoy Group of London and has since gathered more than 20 years of experience in the
hospitality industry, having worked in luxurious hotels in London, Phuket, Dubai,
and The Caspian Sea.
“The first time I arrived in Danang I was mesmerized by the beautiful beach and the incredibly attractive architecture of The Furama Resort Danang, which made me
determined to become its General Manager ahead of all the other candidates” said
Halliday.
Besides managing The Furama Resort
Danang, Hong Kong-based management company, Furama Hotels and Resorts International,
also manages the Caravelle Hotel in Ho Chi Minh
City, as well as hotels in Hong Kong and Shanghai, and The Caravelle’s General Manager, Stephen O’Grady, will now assume the role of Country Manager for FHRI, overseeing operations for both the two hotels of FHRI in
Vietnam.
