A highlight package of the shortlisted finalists was screened during the Branding for Low Cost Airlines session on the second morning of the Symposium, on 27
January 2005, followed by a voting session by delegates. Award winners were announced prior to the Closing Ceremony.
The Centre’s Managing Director, Peter Harbison,
said, “these awards recognise the hard work low cost carriers are putting in to reach travellers – quite often first time
travellers – in an increasingly competitive and crowded market”.
“We congratulate the winners and runners-up and express our thanks to all the low cost airlines and their Advertising and PR teams for submitting their entries”,
added Mr Harbison.
