The Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) has gained ISO 9001:2000 certification. The certification is for implementing a world standard quality management system across
all its varied fields of activity that includes venue management, exhibitions organising, property leasing and catering divisions.
“ISO certification is globally recognised and this award demonstrates our commitment to global standards of business practice, said DWTC Director General Helal Saeed
Khalfan Al Marri. “It has been our priority to continue improving our overall performance through our quality management system which is designed to enable us to
directly address the needs and demands of our customers. We conduct regular reviews of all our operations to ensure that we continue to meet and exceed the
expectations of our customers,” he added.
“Comprehensive audits and evaluation were held across all our various fields of activity with all our divisions being subject to scrutiny. In fact, the award is a direct
tribute to each and every employee of DWTC,” Mr Al Marri said.
