Carlson Hotels Worldwide adds Seven Hotels to Global Portfolio in September 2005

Carlson Hotels Worldwide added five Radisson Hotels & Resorts and two Country Inns & Suites By Carlson properties during the month of September 2005. Of the new Radisson hotels, three are in Europe, one is in India, and another is in the U.S. The two new Country Inns & Suites are located in India and the United States. The company’s global portfolio now totals 907 hotels and 145,715 guestrooms in 69 countries around the world. Carlson hotel brands include: Regent International Hotels, Radisson Hotels & Resorts, Park Plaza Hotels & Resorts, Country Inns & Suites By Carlsonsm and Park Inn.

Radissons Open in Europe, India and the U.S.

Located in one of the most fashionable shopping malls in the city, the Radisson SAS Hotel in Hasselt, Belgium, boasts unique room styles and excellent dining and meeting facilities. All rooms are fully equipped with first-class amenities, including complimentary high-speed Internet access. The Passage Fitness First is a spacious and fully equipped fitness club available to all guests, and the onsite Koper Bar & Restaurant offers a contemporary menu in an old Flemish setting.

Complimentary continental breakfast is offered daily; coffee, candy and cookies are available to guests in the lobby 24 hours a day.

The hotel, which is owned and managed by Bhogilal Patel, is within walking distance to several family-style restaurants, including Lone Star, Olive Garden and Cracker Barrel. The guestrooms include high-speed Internet access, a coffeemaker, a mini refrigerator, microwave, 25-inch television, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. An onsite meeting room can accommodate up to 40 people, and fax and copy services are also available.

The new Country Inn & Suites By Carlson in Jalandhar, India, is owned and operated by Arun Moses, and offers 48 spacious guestrooms. The hotel is located in the center of the city and features two restaurants: Mosaic, a 24-hour, multi-cuisine restaurant, and The Oriental Kitchen, serving Chinese specialties.
