Dates released for launch of Proposals for Integrated Resorts in Singapore

The development of Integrated Resorts (IRs) in Singapore is an important project that is expected to generate significant economic benefits to Singapore.

The Singapore Tourism Board, together with the relevant government agencies, has said it needs more time to adequately address the complex concerns raised from the proposers.

In view of this, the Bayfront Request for Proposal (RFP) will be launched by end November 2005 and the RFP for Sentosa is targeted to be launched in the first quarter of 2006. The timing of the two RFPs has been staggered to give Proposers who are unsuccessful in the Bayfront RFP the opportunity to participate in the Sentosa RFP.
