Air France
and Japan Airlines are to launch a code-share service between Paris and Nagoya
from 17 February, 2005.
The Paris-Nagoya route will be served daily on a code-share basis, under the
'AF' code, with a Japan Airlines B777-200 aircraft and crew. Air France will be allotted 80
Economy Class seats and 20 Business Class seats on this aircraft to offer its customers.
AF 296 will leave Paris-CDG 2 at 5:25pm local time, landing in
Centrair, Nagoya's brand new international and domestic airport, at 1:25pm the next day , enabling
passengers to choose between 29 domestic and regional connections.
AF 295 will leave Nagoya at 10am local time, landing at Paris-CDG2 at 2:35pm local time.
Nagoya is the capital of the Chubu region, one of the ten most powerful economic centres worldwide, where
the 2005 World Exhibition will be held from 25 March to 25 September 2005 (15 million visitors are expected).
