Cyprus Airways partners with IAGO Solutions for Specialist Pilot Training

Cyprus Airways - the Cypriot flag carrier - has signed a pilot training deal with the UK’s IAGO Solutions - an established partnership of type rating instructors and examiners providing individual commercial airline pilot testing and training services.

As part of the agreement, Cyprus Airways, which operates twice weekly flights from Dubai to Larnaca, will provide take off and landing training to IAGO’s trainee pilots specialising in the Airbus aircraft family.

“IAGO selected Cyprus Airways due to its impeccable safety record and also the fact that the airline was one of the launch customers for the A320 aircraft,” said Stavros Kyprianou, Head - Middle East and Gulf, Cyprus Airways.

“Our pilots are well experienced in operating the Airbus A320 aircraft and this agreement is a reflection of the industry’s confidence in Cyprus Airways.”
