Marriott has
appointed Ms. Belinda Pote as senior vice president international marketing, reporting to Ed Fuller, president and managing director for International Lodging.
Most recently, Ms. Pote served as regional vice president of brand marketing for the
Asia Pacific region, based in Hong Kong. She replaces Susan Thronson, who was
recently promoted to senior vice president for global marketing at Marriott International.
In her role, Ms. Pote is responsible for brand strategy and marketing for the JW Marriott Hotels & Resorts, Marriott Hotels & Resorts, Renaissance Hotels & Resorts,
Courtyard by Marriott and Marriott Executive Apartments lodging brands outside of the United States and Canada.

in the global marketplace,” said Mr. Fuller.
Ms. Pote joined Marriott International’s
Asia Pacific regional team in 1999. Prior to joining Marriott, Ms. Pote worked in London, UK in the advertising industry as well as
for the McCann-Erickson Agency in Hong Kong for eight years.
She is a graduate of the City of London Polytechnic.
