At the recent Low-fare and Regional Aviation (LARA) Summit held in the Hammersmith International Centre in London earlier this month, key figures in the Aviation
industry were in attendance with Air Arabia’s Head of Information Technology, Ali Al-Hamdany, taking the stage on the second day to address participants on the role of
Information Technology (IT) within Air Arabia and in particular, how IT has contributed to the success that the airline has experienced to date.
Al-Hamdany led an informative discussion on the in-house developed solutions that have been tailored to ensure industry relevance while at the same time optimising
output and minimising costs. He used real life examples of IT support for flight planning and
despatch.
Commented Air Arabia’s Marketing Manager, Jyotsna
Habibullah, “This is a tremendous opportunity for Air Arabia to tell its’ story to the international aviation industry.
Being the first low-cost airline in the region and sharing our success opens further opportunities for Middle Eastern aviation. Air Arabia’s participation in such
international events gives us the opportunity to inform audiences of our growth to date as well as the solutions that we use for this
growth.”
