Air France Industries is setting up a component logistics center at Abu Dhabi airport aimed at enhancing customer service in the Middle East for the portfolio of existing
and future customers operating Boeing 777 and/or Airbus fleets.
Air France Industries is currently organizing the stock valued at more than 10 million dollars, and will begin operations early 2006.
The logistics center will provide :
- Reception and distribution of parts,
- Dispatch from a central delivery point,
- Warehousing, with Main Base parts storage,
- Fast Shop services using an ATEC testbench for Avionics equipment,
- Local rapair management, as well as Air France Industries repair network back-up.
Air France Industries will
therefore be able to lower ownership and operational costs and offer an enhanced range of competitive local services to customers throughout the
region for their fast growing 777 and Airbus fleets.
