Le Meridien signs agreement to manage its First Beach Resort in China

Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts has signed an agreement with China Resources Shimei Bay Tourism Development (Hainan) Limited to manage Le Méridien Shimei Bay Beach & Spa Resort, a 300-room, deluxe five star property currently under the final stage of planning and due to open end 2007.

Hainan Island is one of Asia’s fastest growing beach destinations and Shimei Bay, on the south coast, is home to one of its most spectacular white sand beaches stretching over 5 km.

Incorporating the finest in luxury accommodation and the very latest in-room technology, Le Méridien Shimei Bay Beach & Spa Resort will boast an impressive range of facilities that will embrace the natural environment and pristine beach.
