The internationally-acclaimed
Cirque du Soleil is to perform a selection of unique acts at the 12th World Travel Awards (WTA) ceremony
to be held in London on 13 November 2005.
"In its 21st year,
Cirque du Soleil continues to celebrate innovation, excellence and the very best of its profession,"
said WTA Event Director, Manon Han. "It is fitting that they will perform at the World Travel Awards, which over the last 12 years has come to represent the same for the global travel and tourism trade."
From small beginnings in Quebec in 1984,
Cirque du Soleil now presents 11 different shows around the world, comprising five resident shows in Las Vegas and
Orlando, and six international touring shows.

will contribute to an enjoyable and successful evening on November 13."
