QantasLink
is to launch new flights between Wollongong (Illawarra Regional Airport) on the NSW south coast and Melbourne
on Monday 6 June.
Introductory fares for the new services
start from A$99.00 one way plus surcharges, fees and taxes of A$44.00.
Executive General Manager Regional Airlines Narendra Kumar said QantasLink would operate seven return services each week between Wollongong and Melbourne.
"The QantasLink schedule will enable Wollongong originating customers to have a day return trip to Melbourne on weekdays and will provide for a second evening
departure on Wednesdays and Fridays.
"Services from Melbourne will include a morning service on Mondays and Thursdays and an evening departure from Monday to Friday," he said.
