Sharjah-based
low cost airline, Air Arabia, is to add an additional daily flight to Mumbai
between 1 December and 31 January, to cater to increasing demand over the
winter holiday season.
“The Mumbai route has been one of the most popular for both business and leisure travellers,” commented Harish Kutty, Head of Planning & Revenue Management for
Air Arabia. “The winter is a peak travel time, with people travelling between the UAE and India to visit family and friends, and we are pleased to be able to offer them
more flight choices at an affordable fare.”
Flights depart Sharjah Airport twice daily for Mumbai at 16:45 and 23:25 arriving at 21.00 and 03:40 local time, and depart Mumbai at 21:45 and 04:25 arriving in Sharjah
at 23:20 and 06:00 local time.

currently flies to twenty four destinations with more planned: Aleppo and Damascus (Syria); Alexandria, Assiut, Luxor and Sharm El Sheikh (Egypt); Aqaba and
Amman (Jordan); Astana and Almaty (Kazakhstan); Bahrain; Beirut (Lebanon); Colombo (Sri Lanka); Dammam, Jeddah and Riyadh (KSA), Doha (Qatar); Khartoum
(Sudan); Kuwait; Mumbai and Nagpur (India); Muscat (Oman); Sana’a (Yemen) and Sharjah
(UAE).
