From 30 October 2005, customers of Singapore Airlines and LOT Polish Airlines will be able to
benefit from seamless travel between South East Asia and Poland through the
implementation of a codeshare agreement between the two airlines.
Singapore Airlines customers now will be able to connect to LOT’s daily services to Warsaw through its European hubs of Frankfurt, Amsterdam and
Zurich.
LOT’s customers will also have more travel options to Singapore, on Singapore Airlines’ twice-daily flights from Frankfurt and daily flights from Zurich and Amsterdam.
Singapore Airlines Executive Vice-President (Marketing and the Regions), Mr Huang Cheng Eng,
said, “ We are happy about this new codeshare agreement because it reflects our growing and developing relationship with LOT Polish Airlines. Our customers will now have more travel options into Poland via Warsaw and we look forward
to developing tourism into Poland and Central and Eastern Europe. ”
Mr Piotr Dubno, LOT Polish Airlines Executive Vice-President Commercial
added, “This codesharing will certainly benefit our customers because the services
provide the quickest and most convenient way of travelling between Poland and South East Asia. We hope it will provide opportunities for even more travel exchanges
between the emerging markets of Eastern Europe and South East Asia.”
