Management
at the recently reopened Le Méridien Phuket Beach Resort, are
optimistic on the hotels future occupancy rates.
Mr Philippe Seigle, Regional General Manager, Le Méridien Thailand Resorts said that there is great belief and confidence in the tourism segment now that Phuket is
firmly back at the top of the agenda in people’s travel plans.
"There is a clear indication that people are returning to Phuket and we are in a perfect position to deliver the ideal holiday with great offers. Now is the perfect time to
take a break in one of the best holiday spots in the world," said Mr
Seigle.
He also stated how delighted he was to greet his first guests at the newly refurbished resort.
"It is great to be back in business again. Everyone has worked very hard to get the hotel back to its best and I would like to thank all the staff for their loyalty and
dedication. We have paid all of our staff throughout the closure and we have been rewarded with enthusiasm and excellence from them," said Mr
Seigle.
The resort has undergone renovation and refurbishments throughout the public areas resulting in a fresh contemporary Thai style with the use of fabrics and silks from
the Mae Fah Luang Foundation. The main lobby, reception, swimming pools, several restaurants and back of house facilities have
also been upgraded.
To celebrate the re-opening, the hotel is offering special rates starting from US$95+++ per night from now until 31 October 2005.
"This is one of the best hotels in Asia and considered a second home by thousands of families and repeat guests. I can assure them that their favourite paradise in
Phuket is back and it is better than ever," added Mr Seigle.
