Trevor
Eastwood is to retire as a Director of Qantas Airways after nearly 10 years on the Board.
Mr Eastwood was appointed to the Qantas Board in October 1995 and his retirement
takes effect on 31 March, 2005.
“Trevor joined Qantas soon after it became a publicly listed company and he has made a wonderful contribution over the past nine and a half years,” Chairman of Qantas, Margaret
Jackson said.
“He has been a member of the Chairman’s Committee since it was established and a member of the Audit Committee for the past four years.
“On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Trevor for his efforts over nearly a decade and to wish him well for the future.”
