The JAL Group plans to inaugurate flights to six destinations in
Japan when the new Kobe Airport opens on February 16 2006. The
destinations will be: Tokyo (Haneda), Okinawa, Sapporo, Sendai, Kumamoto and Kagoshima.
With the opening of Kobe, a domestic
airport in Japan, the JAL Group will be able to further expand its network in Japan’s Kansai area through three airports in the region,
including Kansai International, which offers international and domestic flights and Osaka’s Itami Airport, which provides domestic
services.
The
group plans a total of 10 round trip flights per day on the six routes,
but details and aircraft type are yet to be announced.
