Mondial Assistance has appointed Frank Agius as
the new general manager of its Brisbane-based global response centre.
Frank brings more than 17 years of contact centre management experience to the role and was most recently head of CRM operations for Hutchison Telecoms – 3G,
working in both India and Australia. With overall responsibility for a team of 1,000, Frank spent 16 months in India, overseeing the set-up and managing the launch of a
new India-based contact centre operation for the telecommunications provider.
Frank’s role at Mondial Assistance will involve managing all aspects of their global response contact centre, a facility that operates around the clock,
co-ordinating responses to callers across the globe.
The Mondial Assistance contact centre counts trained mechanics, doctors and nurses among its workforce, handling calls from Mondial Assistance roadside
assistance, travel and health cover portfolios.
