Zeavola,
a new luxury resort in Phi Phi Islands, Krabi, has announced that it is
on track to soft-open, May 1, 2005. The Management team along with 90
staff moved in for training on March 1, 2005.

Panitpichetvong, Managing Director of Zeavola said, “Though we got some slight effects from the devastating Tsunami hit last December [6 villas demolished]. We are so lucky that all of our
staff are safe. At the moment, we are speeding up all of the rebuilds. All preparations and other setups for the soft-opening this coming May 1, 2005 are in hand. Most of the main equipments have
been installed. Landscape work for the soft-opening area should be finished within 3 weeks time.”
Zeavola
has said that it will donate US$ 3 for every room night booked from May 1, 2005 till October 31,
2005 to help fund the rehabilitation of the nearby Tsunami hit Sea-Gypsy Village, to sponsor the scholarship and also to upgrade the school on the island. Room rates at the resort start
from 11,000 Baht.
“Though our utmost efforts might be not enough to help the victims of the devastating Tsunami,
we hope our small contributions will at least help them more or less”, Khun Quanchai added.
