Emirates
Holidays unveiled an innovative, all-in-one online quotation system - TradeNet - to nearly 100
travel agents in Singapore, Thursday.
With the new TradeNet facility, agents can provide speedy quotations for their clients; conveniently reserve customers' flights and hotel accommodation online; create
tailor-made vacations, calculate package quotations and directly communicate with Emirates Holidays simply by accessing the TradeNet website.
TradeNet
aims to ensure greater ease and convenience for agents, reducing time and expenses incurred through unnecessary telephone calls, faxes, emails or other forms of
communication. This translates to shorter waiting time for the customer.
To launch TradeNet to travel agents in Singapore, Emirates Holidays conducted a series of training workshops for top travel agents from November 9 to 10. TradeNet is
also used by travel agents throughout Asia in Hong Kong, India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Bangladesh.
Jyrki Nilson, Emirates' Business Development Manager West Asia & Pacific Rim said, "Outbound travel from Singapore has been growing steadily in the past few years
and we see a great potential to offer our services and customized solutions to this discerning market. We want to help travel agents in Singapore leverage on this
healthy growth in tourism and offer their customers the best vacation packages through Emirates Holidays' new TradeNet facility."
In addition to launching TradeNet, Emirates Holidays also introduced its comprehensive destination range to the travel agents during the two-day training workshop.
Offering more than 1,000 holiday products to more than 36 countries, each of Emirates Holidays' programmes include flights and comprehensive ground arrangements,
from city sightseeing to in-depth discoveries at every destination, making it easier for travel agents to provide all-inclusive holiday solutions to their clients. Tailor-made
arrangements are the hallmark of Emirates Holidays, allowing agents greater flexibility to satisfy their clients.
