Malaysia Airlines will codeshare on Emirates’ four times daily service between Dubai and Kuala Lumpur from 15 February 2016.The flights offered by Malaysia Airlines from Kuala Lumpur to Dubai will therefore increase from one to four daily, although all flights will be operated with Emirates aircraft.

Qatar Airways has confirmed that it will exhibit three aircraft at the Bahrain International Airshow which will take place 21-23 January 2016 at the Sakhir Airbase. Qatar Airways’ A350, for which it was the global launch customer, an A380 and Qatar Executive’s Bombardier Global 5000 business jet will be on static display during the airshow.
293. Qatar Airways to Launch Flights to Gaborone, Botswana in October
Qatar Airways has unveiled plans to launch flights to Gaborone, Botswana, starting 27 October 2019. The capital and largest city of Botswana will be the airline’s first destination in the African country. The three-times weekly flights will be operated by an Airbus A350-900 aircraft, featuring 36 seats in Business Class and 247 seats in Economy Class.

295. HKIA Reports Steady Passenger Growth in H1 2019; Cargo Down
From January to June this year, Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) handled 37.8 million passengers and 212,975 flight movements, an increase of 2.5% and 0.8% respectively over the same period last year. Cargo throughput decreased 6.7% to 2.3 million tonnes in the first 6 months, compared to the same period last year.

Airbus delivered Delta’s 50th A320 Family aircraft by using sustainable jet fuel blends. The landmark aircraft was an A321, Airbus’ longest-fuselage version in its A320 product line, and the first of 20 for the U.S.-based airline.
