One of the very few Nepalese bars in Hong Kong,
and definitely the most popular! Bhatti
literally translates to “tea house” in Nepali, but being from the
foothills of the Himalayas, Nepali need more than tea to keep them
going.
Visit the Bhatti Bar to enjoy a few Nepali
snacks and complimentary Yak Cheese at happy hour between 5-9pm,
and to drink raksi and chaang – traditional Nepali alcoholic
drinks made from either rice or millet.
Nepali women pride themselves on their
liquor and put enormous effort into making raksi and chaang. The best is always home-made, so it isn’t
surprising that that’s just how they make it at Bhatti.
