Generally people in Thailand do not work on
Saturday and so planning meetings would generally revolve around
week days.
It is advisable not to travel to Thailand for business
purposes during Songkran, and we would recommend adding 5 - 10
days each side of this major Thai festival before making a business trip, and definitely
reconfirm before travelling. From a leisure perspective Songkran
is a sight to behold, and while not everyone's cup of tea it is
definitely something which should be witnessed at least once,
whether it is on the back of a tuk tuk or in an air-conditioned
limo.
