Page 2. Over the years, the water games that were played during the Thai New Year Festive period of Songkran, have grown from polite signs of respect for others, to what must be one of the biggest water fights in the world.

 Every year in April, which is one of the hottest months to visit an already very hot Thailand, the country takes a few days off to relax and spend time with family and friends.

 The Songkran Festival has become so big and popular that tourists fly in from all over the world to join the Thais in the fun and games.
