Pictures of GranMonte Pick of the Season Harvest Festival 2013

Every year the GranMonte Vineyard, Winery and Estate, located in the beautiful Asoke Valley of Khao Yai, just 2 hours from Bangkok, holds an Harvest Festival. This year it was held 2-3 February and attracted people not just from all over Thailand, but also one couple who had flown in from Hong Kong, just to enjoy the evening.

As you will see from the pictures below, the event is more a relaxed party for family and friends of the owners the Lohitnavy family. A celebration of friendship with excellent food to match the quality of the wines that were flowing freely. The party goes on well into the night with some excellent live music to complete the evening. On Sunday, guests took their turn to help pick grapes before heading back to Bangkok.

It is definitely not an event you should miss if you are in Thailand at the right time, after all, for a guest to fly all the way over from Hong Kong only to attend the event speaks volumes about how enjoyable it is.
