Page 4 of 5. The 2014 King’s Cup Elephant Polo Tournament took place in Samut Prakan, on the outskirts of Bangkok, Thailand, between 28 and 31 August 2014.

The fun event, organised by Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas, attracted players and teams from around the world. It is a major fund raising event and has, over the years, raised in excess of US$ 750,000 which goes to help elephants and their conservation. It is also an excellent networking event, and a fun day out for the family.

The Elephant Polo games, which consist of two teams of three elephants, three players and three mahouts to help guide the elephants, last for 15 minutes before the elephants are changed for the second half.
