For this coming summer, Bangkok Airways will be introducing a new route from Bangkok to Xi'an in China via Chiang Mai, starting March 31, 2002. This new flight will be operating three times weekly on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
By July 2, 2002, Bangkok Airways in corporation with Siem Reap Airways International will be completing the World Heritage Network route, connecting UNESCO World Heritage Sites such as Sukhothai in Thailand, Luang Prabang in Laos, Danang (Hue) in Vietnam and Siem Reap in Cambodia.
Bangkok Airways existing flights, Bangkok to Samui will operate between 15 - 20 returned flights daily while Bangkok to Phnom Penh will operate 3 flights daily and Bangkok to Siem Reap will operate 4 flights daily.
Also from Bangkok, the airline will fly to Jing Hong 3 flights, Luang Prabang 4 flights and Chiang Mai 13 flights per week.
