Pathumwan Princess takes great pride and pleasure in being the first recipient recently among Royal Princess Hotels & Resorts of the much-coveted ISO 9001:2000 Certificate, an internationally recognized quality endorsement.
Pathumwan Princess has been reviewing all of its procedures, as a result of new facility additions, and the need for a systemized, logical approach, that conforms to being the proud winner of the ISO 9001:2000.
"This ISO award not only credits quality systems but also has a strong emphasis on a non-static environment where continual improvement and continual evaluation is necessary," Mr. James Wilson, General Manager of Pathumwan Princess said.
Mr. Wilson added that quite often customers and even potential staff are looking for independent opinion or advice, and in this regard ISO 9001:2000 is the first step in providing a quality and indeed professional assurance. "It is our intention to take further steps on environmental issues and currently conform to 'Green Leaf Policies.' In addition, we have also agreed to a pilot project on energy conservation which is being conducted between both Thai and German governments," James Wilson said.
