Wolfgang Nitschke Returns to Regent International Hotels; Appointed General Manager for The Regent Schlosshotel Berlin

Most recently, Mr. Nitschke served as general manager of the Burj Al Arab, the world's tallest hotel located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Under his guidance and leadership, the management and staff became world renowned for their commitment to service excellence and outstanding guest experiences. During his career, his experience has encompassed pre-openings, refurbishments, repositionings, facilitating feasibility studies to secure financing, negotiating long-term management agreements and defining operational standards including a strong emphasis on training and staff development.

As general manager at The Regent Schlosshotel Berlin, Mr. Nitschke is responsible for directing and overseeing all day-to-day operations of the 54-room luxury property. The hotel is located in the city's Wilmersdorf district and conveniently located five minutes from Berlin’s famous shopping boulevard, Kurfuerstendamn. Nestled adjacent to Grunewald Forest in Berlin's most prestigious residential neighborhood, the historic building was originally built as a private palace in 1914. The hotel offers luxurious accommodations, exquisite cuisine and is the city's only hotel with an exclusive private park and garden.
