Haneda Excel Hotel Tokyu joins SRS-WORLDHOTELS

Travel News Asia 14 December 2004

The new Haneda Excel Hotel Tokyu, a luxury hotel located just steps from the hub of Japan’s domestic flight network, Tokyo Haneda Airport, has joined SRS-WORLDHOTELS.

Located just south of Tokyo, the hotel is only 15 minutes from downtown by Rapid Limited Express trains, or 25 minutes on the Tokyo Monorail.

Transfers to Tokyo’s international flight hub at Narita are by the Keikyu Airport Limited Express which connects the two airports and is a two-hour journey. Buses between the two airports take about 75 minutes.

The 387-room Haneda Excel is located at Terminal-2, with direct access to the departure lobby, and just 5 minutes by Airport Shuttle Bus to Terminal-1.

Sound-proof windows, flat screen TVs and high speed internet access are features of all rooms. The Flyer’s Table restaurant and bar is geared to flight passengers, and open from 5.30am to midnight. All rooms offer panoramic views of the airport and Tokyo Bay.

“We are delighted to welcome the Haneda Excel to SRS-WORLDHOTELS,” said Roland Jegge, Vice-President Asia-Pacific for SRS-WORLDHOTELS.

“The property is a perfect hub for catching flights across Japan’s domestic network and is especially convenient for early morning departures. Automatic check-in machines and a flight information display for the two main domestic carriers, ANA and JAL, are in the hotel lobby.

“It is also convenient for shopping and sightseeing. Sitting next door to the Shuto Expressway, it is only 20 minutes by car to Ginza and just 50 minutes by limousine bus from Tokyo Disney Resort.”
