Virgin Atlantic offers Luxury Gifts for Upper Class Passengers

Virgin Atlantic has launched a promotion for passengers flying Upper Class in the run up to Christmas. The airline is offering passengers a wide range of luxurious gifts from Thorntons, Sony and Virgin Wines when they fly in Upper Class* between 15 September and 31 December 2003 (inclusive).

This promotion is available to existing members of Virgin Atlantic’s frequent flyer programme flying club – but passengers can also join flying club in order to take advantage of the offer. All members will need an online account, and must register for the offer before they fly, in order to be eligible for the gifts.

Passengers can choose from a selection of luxurious gifts for every sector they fly or save up for a more generous gift when flying a number of sectors. A glimpse at the range of luxury gifts to choose from is as follows:

One sector – Sony EyeToy for PlayStation 2 with 12 mini games

Two sectors – Thorntons hamper with 3.5kg of chocolate and Champagne

Three sectors – 12 bottle case of Premium Champagne from Virgin Wines

Four sectors – Sony PlayStation 2, an EyeToy and 12 mini games

Five sectors – Sony PDA personal organiser

To add to the benefits of this promotion, flying club members will have the opportunity to travel on Virgin Atlantic’s new Upper Class Suite, which will soon be launched on selected London Heathrow services, before being rolled out across the airline's fleet. The revolutionary Upper Class Suite consists of a reclining leather seat for take off, a place to sit and eat a proper meal opposite your partner, and the one of the longest fully flat beds in the world.
