Michael Kalyk, President of The Marco Polo Hotel Group
has announced the appointment of Mr. Kevin Sun as Director of Development.
The Director of Development will be responsible for identifying new hotel
opportunities for The Marco Polo Hotel Group in the Asia Pacific Region with
focus on Mainland China. Other development targets include the major gateways and emerging secondary cities throughout the region.
Mr. Sun is a graduate of Cornell University's prestigious School of Hotel
Administration. He joins the group with a wealth of hospitality experience in
development, sales and hotel operations. Prior to joining The Marco Polo
Hotel Group, he was with the Cheung Kong Holdings Ltd, Hyatt International
and Westin Hotels & Resorts.

opportunities to open additional Marco Polo hotels in the gateway cities and
emerging secondary business centers throughout the region. With Kevin's
broad experience in Greater China and with his excellent facility in Chinese
