KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and Northwest Airlines
are to increase their joint-venture flights between Amsterdam and Minneapolis, and between
Amsterdam and Houston, starting summer 2004.
In addition to the two daily services operated by Northwest, in the summer of
2004, KLM will begin operating a third daily service between the hubs Amsterdam and Minneapolis with a MD-11 aircraft.
In addition to the existing daily return service between Amsterdam and
Houston, KLM and Northwest are to increase flight frequencies by adding a
second return service on Fridays and Sundays. Like the current daily Boeing
747-400 flights, these will be flown by KLM, but in a Boeing 767-300ER. |
