ibis made its Kuala Lumpur debut this month
with the opening of ibis Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC).
Located just a five-minute walk from major
tourist attractions including the Petronas Twin Towers, Suria KLCC
shopping mall and the KL Aquarium, corporate headquarters of major
banks, the Australian High Commission and the National Library,
guests will not have to worry about being too far from the city’s
hot spots.
“Over the years, we’ve noticed an influx of
travellers stepping foot into Malaysia and the growing trend of
travellers opting for hotels that are affordable and provides them
with all the amenities one needs. ibis KLCC does just that as it
combines the ultimate comfort of modern and well-equipped rooms
and amenities with the highest level of service,” said Ricky Ho,
General Manager of Ibis Kuala Lumpur City Centre.
“The opening of ibis KLCC is a strategic milestone for the ibis
brand in Malaysia and we look to strengthen our brand presence in
this part of the world as we continue to add to the growing ibis
network in the Southeast Asian region.”
Each of the 684 rooms at the ibis KLCC feature a
“Sweet Bed” with duvet and super-soft pillows, 43-inch flat-screen
LCD TV, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, iron, modular
desk, international sockets and USB ports, free high speed Wi-Fi and
soundproof windows.
Guests will be able to enjoy locally inspired
eats at the Kampung Kitchen restaurant. Breakfast is from 06:30 - 10.30, while a la carte
lunch and dinner is from 10:30am - 22:30. There's also a
convenient Petite
Paris takeaway outlet which operates from 11:00 - 21:00.
Other facilities at ibis KLCC include a
shuttle service to key locations around the city, self check-in kiosks,
laundry service, meeting facilities for up to 120 pax, a spa, gym
and a rooftop infinity pool. 24-hour check-in is also available.
A bar, located on the 31st floor of the hotel,
will open in the fourth quarter of 2018.
