Hospitality Development to open the 13th Hilton Worldwide property
in Thailand.
The Hilton Phuket Patong Resort, which is
expected to open in the first quarter of 2018, will be the sixth

“The

further establish our brands in existing markets and we are pleased to be working with a strong partner like Q Hospitality
Development to advance our footprint,” said Andrew Clough, senior
vice president of development, Middle East & Asia Pacific, Hilton
Worldwide. “As Phuket continues to be one of South East Asia’s
premier destinations with its international airport expansion
plans to boost capacity from 6.5 million to 18 million
passengers, the new Hilton Phuket Patong Resort will complement
our existing portfolio in Phuket.”
Located along Prabaramee Road, the main coastal road leading to
Patong town center, the 300-room Hilton Phuket Patong Resort will
be 21 kilometers from Phuket International Airport, and approximately 1.6 kilometers from the famous Patong Beach.
The

destination’s tourism epicenter renowned for its shopping, dining,
entertainment and nightlife offerings. Its immediate vicinity
features numerous local and western restaurants.
Set on a steep hillside, Hilton Phuket Patong Resort will
span across more than four hectares, offering 300 rooms
and villas with a minimum room size of 54 square meters.
Each room and villa will offer views of the Patong
coastline.
The hotel will have five restaurant and bar options
including an all-day dining outlet, a specialty restaurant and a
destination bar.
Hilton Phuket Patong Resort will have meetings
and events facilities in a standalone pavilion building which
offers two versatile function spaces covering an area of 500
square meters.
Other facilities will include a fitness center, a spa,
three outdoor pools and a business center.
“We are
pleased to partner with Hilton Worldwide, to bring a leading
global five-star hotel brand to Patong. We hope that this hotel
will further enhance Phuket as the leading holiday destination in Asia. Given Hilton Worldwide’s extensive knowledge and 95 years’
experiencing in operating world class hotels and resorts, we are
confident that Hilton Phuket Patong Resort will be another flagship hotel for Hilton Worldwide in Thailand,” said Kris Limcharoen, Chief Executive of Q Hospitality.
Hilton Phuket Patong Resort will become the brand’s sixth property
in Thailand when it opens in 2018, joining Hilton Phuket Arcadia
Resort & Spa, Hilton Hua Hin Resort & Spa, Hilton Pattaya, Hilton
Sukhumvit Bangkok, and Millennium Hilton Bangkok. The new hotel
will add to the Hilton Worldwide portfolio of 11 operating and one
