Lee Campbell, one of Australia’s toughest
personal trainers, has joined the team at Lake Crackenback Resort
& Spa as a new ambassador working alongside the resort’s
conferencing team to develop a new range of corporate team
building activities.
Lee is a former soldier and physical
training instructor in the Australian Army (3rd Battalion – para
trooper). He’s also been the ambassador for Tough Mudder Australia
and thrives on helping people prepare for mud, adventure and
obstacle-based events.
Lake Crackenback Resort & Spa General Manager
Anthony Cleary said conference delegates already utilize a variety
of outdoor activities like mountain bike riding, trail running and
bush walking in their conference schedules and that Lee’s
involvement will take the team building options at the resort to a
new level.
“The beautiful countryside around Lake
Crackenback Resort & Spa coupled with the ruggedness of the
Kosciusko National Park lends itself to outdoor activities for
conferences and meeting delegates,” said Mr Cleary. “Lee has
developed a number of successful health and wellbeing programs for
literally thousands of corporates and will be developing not only
activities for conference and corporate incentive groups at Lake
Crackenback Resort & Spa but will be creating a series of group
getaway health and fitness programs.”
Lee is the latest appointment to Lake Crackenback
Resort & Spa’s stable of athletic ambassadors which also includes
champion triathletes Ben Allen, Jacqui Slack and Erin Densham,
biathlete Alex Almoukov, champion mountain bike riders Caroline
Buchanan and Andy Blair, trail runner Brendan Davies, race walker
Jared Tallent, Paralympian and champion skier/cyclist/trekker and
triathlete Michael Milton and fishing identity Steve Starling.
Lake Crackenback Resort & Spa is located on the
border of the Kosciuszko National Park in New South Wales
(Australia) and is just 15 minutes from the ski-fields of Thredbo
