Premier Inn Opens 700th Hotel

Premier Inn opened its 700th hotel in the UK earlier this month.

The brand new Premier Inn is situated on Wheatfield Way in the London Borough of Kingston upon Thames, minutes from Kingston Museum, Rose Theatre and Kingston Bridge.

Each bedroom at the hotel caters for up to two adults and two children (aged 15 and under) and includes Premier Inn’s luxurious Hypnos bed; an en-suite bathroom; remote control TV with Freeview; tea/coffee making facilities, and a desk area with free WiFi.

The hotel also has an on-site Thyme restaurant offering a mix of traditional and contemporary dishes as well as the All You Can Eat ‘Premier Breakfast’.

“I'm delighted to have opened this great addition to the Premier Inn portfolio. Kingston is a brilliant historic location and we know that the demand is there for customers travelling from far flung destinations to visit the local tourist hotspots like Hampton Court nearby, but also for those who are looking for a great night’s sleep and delicious breakfast before an important meeting in the city,” said Simon Jones, Managing Director for Premier Inn UK and hub by Premier Inn. “Our hotels cater for a wide range of customers and we are popular with families, couples and business travellers alike. We have reached a real milestone by opening our 700th hotel and Premier Inn’s can be found in more locations than any other hotel chain in the UK for the ease and convenience of our customers.”

Premier Inn is in the process of creating 6000 new apprenticeships by 2020 to offer young people training and the opportunity to progress their careers. The company is also expanding into Asia Pacific.
