Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts has opened a hotel in one of Bangkok’s most prime locations, Sukhumvit Soi 15.

The five-star Mövenpick Hotel Sukhumvit 15 Bangkok represents the Swiss hospitality firm’s first city hotel in Thailand, and its fourth countrywide, with three upscale beach properties already in operation; one in Koh Samui and two in Phuket.

“Strategically positioned in Bangkok’s bustling business, leisure and entertainment district and just a few steps from Sukhumvit Road, Mövenpick Hotel Sukhumvit 15 Bangkok boasts an enviable location,” said Andreas Mattmüller, Chief Operating Officer of Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts, Middle East and Asia. “Bangkok remains one of South-East Asia’s main business hubs and to open a brand new hotel in one of the city’s most established areas, popular with visitors, residents and expats alike, is another important step for Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts as we continue to expand our footprint across the region.”

Highlights of the 297-key Mövenpick Hotel Sukhumvit 15 Bangkok include a 20-metre rooftop pool and bar, 330 square metres of meeting space and a cosy courtyard featuring a two-storey waterfall.

F&B options showcase Mövenpick’s gastronomic expertise, with outlets serving a range of cuisine from Thai classics to European and international dishes. In addition, the Rainforest Rooftop Bar is where guests can enjoy cocktails and gourmet tapas, whilst taking in views of the Bangkok skyline.

The Swiss hospitality firm operates Mövenpick Hotel Sukhumvit 15 Bangkok under a management agreement with the property’s owning company, Kijsompong Co., Ltd.

The  General Manager of Mövenpick Hotel Sukhumvit 15 Bangkok is Simon Rindlisbacher.
