Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT) has signed a
global agreement with International SOS, a leading medical and
travel security services company.
Through the multi-faceted, multi-year agreement
with International SOS, CWT customers will have the opportunity to
access best in class pre-travel advice, medical and security
assistance while travelling abroad along with web-based tools that
help to manage employee travel risk, promote advance preparation,
compliance, communications and tracking.
Commenting on this initiative, David Moran,
CWT’s executive vice president, Global Marketing & Enterprise
Strategy, said, “Safety and security is a crucial part of CWT’s
service to clients. Through our agreement with International SOS
we will strengthen our existing offer by giving clients access to
industry leading medical and travel security services. Our mission
is to empower travel and security managers with the necessary
insight and control, and help companies ensure employee safety and
well-being.”
Philippe Arnaud, International SOS’s chief
commercial officer, added, “We have worked with CWT on behalf
of mutual clients since 1998 and this new agreement is a great way
of expanding our combined value in supporting organizations and
their travelers before and during travel. Achieving a robust
safety and security system requires organizations to employ a
range of services and International SOS is pleased to work with an
organization that has a similar worldwide footprint and who shares
this mission.”
CWT’s multiyear agreement with International SOS
will initially roll out in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, the
U.S. and the U.K..
