Exclusive HD video interview with Nikolaus Priesnitz, General
Manager of the Anantara Bangkok Riverside Resort and Spa.
In this interview, which was filmed on 1
September 2014, you will learn about the renovations which are
currently taking place at this lovely resort, when they will be
completed, what the work will mean for guests, what
technology is being incorporated into the new-look rooms, and
whether the room count will remain the same or not.

We also discuss the very first new-build Avani
Hotel in the world, and ask how the two brands - Anantara and
Avani - differ from one another. The Avani hotel, which is
scheduled to open in October 2015, is located just behind the
Anantara Bangkok Riverside. We discuss what the rooms at this
brand new hotel will be like, how its target markets will differ
from that of Anantara's, whether guests of one hotel will be able
to use the facilities of the other, and what MICE facilities the
hotel will have.
And, of course, as this hotel is in Bangkok, we
had to ask how the political turmoil in the city has affected
business and what the Anantara Riverside's forward bookings are
looking like for the peak end of year season. We also ask which are the
hotel's top markets and how Mr. Priesntiz's experience working in
China helps him better understand the Chinese traveller, and what
Anantara is doing to make them feel more at home, and their stay
more comfortable.
You will also learn more about the luxurious and
unique cruise options the hotel offers guests, how much they cost and how exclusive they are, and we also
ask how Asiatique's opening two years ago has impacted the
hotel and much, much more.
