Worldhotels has appointed Paulo Salvador as its new Chief Marketing Officer, and Geoff Andrew as Chief Operating Officer.

In his new role, Paulo Salvador, will oversee the group’s global marketing operations and strive to expand the company’s exposure to global travellers worldwide. Among his ambitious projects for the year ahead is the launch of a group-wide Global Loyalty Programme in Q2 2014.

Salvador joined Worldhotels in January 2011 as Executive Vice President Europe, Middle East and Africa, and in the past three years has successfully overseen all of the group’s operations within the EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) region as well as its global sales and distribution activities.

Joining Worldhotels as its new Chief Operating Officer is Geoff Andrew, who will occupy a dual responsibility within the group: maximising its performance in the EMEA region and managing a number of Worldhotels’ global programmes and operations.

Andrew has a proven track record in the hospitality industry having worked in executive positions at Corinthia Hotels, Summit Hotels & Resorts and within the Utell organisation. Most recently before joining Worldhotels, he served as Managing Director at Worldhotels’ sister company Nexus World Services where he led the growth of the company from a small subsidiary of Worldhotels to a successful independent company with a strong client base of international hotel groups.

Both Andrew and Salvador will be based in Worldhotels’ headquarters in Frankfurt, Germany, and report to the group’s Managing Director, Robert Hornman.
